What is a File Certificate?
A File Certificate is an electronic document issued by SaveTheProof that allows you to legally prove the existence of a file and its content at the time the certificate is issued.
With this service, you can certify the content of any file on your device (up to 100 MB). If the file is located on the internet and not on your device, it’s better to use the Browsing Session Certificate service, as it will also record its location on the web.
At the end, the certificate will be automatically generated, which will include a unique identifier of the file content (hash) along with other technical information (metadata) that will undeniably prove the existence of the file content on the date of the certificate.
